The Game of Backgammon is one of the oldest known games dating back over 5,000 years.  At times Backgammon has enjoyed great popularity.  It is still enjoyed face to face with a friend, though nowadays it can be played at multiple sites online.  A combination of luck and skill makes for an enjoyable game to be played as competitively as you dare.  It is a fast moving game, guaranteed not to bore you!  The game can be learned quickly and enjoyed from the first roll of the dice.

Cy Sineath learned to play Backgammon in the 1970s and has been playing when he can find a partner ever since.
