Course Fee - $25.00
There are reasons why certain memories stay with us. We don’t remember everything that has happened in our lives, but we remember those things that made a difference.
Using the five senses, sight, hearing, tast, touch, and smell will draw readers into your stories, and create details that make your memories come alive.
In a warm and noncompetitive setting, students are given prompts that bring forth memories. You will write about yourself each week to share for feedback. (max 2000 words) The instructor will read and offer individual suggestions and comments to improve clarity and strength. Our classes are small, and we encourage each other, often making good friends from distant areas.
Glenda Beall is a published poet and author of two books. She has taught writing at John C. Campbell Folk School, ICL, Tri-Community College, and in her studio, Writers Circle around the Table.

She creates a comfortable setting where students share their writing with others. She firmly believes in encouragement and sensitivity when helping writers improve their work.
