"The Battle of Britain" was a major 1940 air campaign, lasting from July 10 to October 31, in which the Royal Air Force successfully defended the United Kingdom against the German Luftwaffe, preventing Hitler's planned invasion. This class will be a remembrance of all those who served in the RAF during the battle along with numerous other men and women of the British Commonwealth as well as Americans, Polish, Czech and French pilots. They are immortalized as "THE FEW."

Martin Loyley grew up and was educated in England attending Nottingham Art College. He has used his art training throughout his life. Martin and his wife Sharon have spent a lifetime in Christian Ministry on four continents. Both are now retired from pastoral ministry with the Methodist Church.
